Sending a computer signal to a monitor and projector simultaneouslyMost CPUs only have one VGA (or monitor) output. So, connecting it to multiple devices (such as an LCD projector, Plasma, or LCD panel) can be difficult and confusing. The most effective way is to use a buffered 1 input 2 output distribution amplifier. This unit will split and multiply the signal enabling both devices to show your computer content. Essentially, you connect the CPU monitor output to the Altinex DA1907LX (Ditto-Amp) computer input, connect output 1 to the local monitor, and output 2 to the projector, plasma, or lcd panel. (see diagram below) Using the Altinex DA1907LX (Ditto-Amp) causes less signal degradation (loss) resulting in better image quality. Compatible monitor resolution is: VGA (640x480) to UXGA (1600x1200).
